GME ACTION is a medical transport membership program and is not insurance. In a life-threatening emergency, contact 911 or the applicable local emergency number.

  1. 1.Membership, not insurance

GME ACTION is a medical transport membership program and is not insurance. Membership benefits, eligibility, geographic availability, transportation authorization, exclusions, limitations, and member financial responsibility are governed exclusively by the applicable membership agreement. Emergency medical transportation and assistance services are powered by Global Medevac. GME ACTION does not replace health insurance, travel insurance, or emergency medical services. In a life-threatening emergency, contact 911 or the applicable local emergency number.

  2. 2.When services begin

Membership services become effective when enrollment and service fees are received and approved at the Home Office. Payment alone does not establish an effective date or issue a member number. Your membership details will provide the confirmed effective date.

  3. 3.Specific waiting periods

The agreement specifies a 90-day waiting period for qualifying preexisting care, prescriptions or treatment within its preceding-180-day rule, and a one-year wait for organ retrieval and organ recipient transportation services. These are service-specific conditions, not a blanket 30-day enrollment wait.

  4. 4.Term and payment schedule

One-year Individual and Family memberships can be paid in full or in 12 monthly installments. Monthly payments do not create a month-to-month membership. After the initial cancellation period, remaining installments for the current term remain due. Renewal occurs at the end of the membership term, subject to the agreement and timely written notice.

  5. 5.Cancellation and reimbursement

The agreement provides a conditional 30-day cancellation and reimbursement process. Written notice with the required delivery confirmation is necessary; reimbursement may be reduced by services provided. See the agreement for its enrollment and coverage date provisions and the separate first-year satisfaction guarantee.

  6. 6.Family eligibility

Family membership covers the member, an eligible spouse or life partner, and eligible children as defined in the agreement. Children qualify through the end of the month they turn 26, subject to the dependency rules. Family changes must be recorded before an incident and confirmed in writing.

  7. 7.Travel conditions

The Basic Coverage Area includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas and Caribbean islands, with service-specific limits. Worldwide benefits require itinerary notice at least 10 days before travel and written confirmation, apply for up to 90 days per trip, and have a $20,000 limit for the specified services. Excluded destinations and other agreement conditions apply.

  8. 8.Transport limits and costs

The agreement limits air medical transports to two per individual service year, with a specified immediate helicopter-to-fixed-wing transfer counted as one occurrence. Domestic helicopter benefits use the lesser of the reasonable and customary charge or balance bill, up to $25,000 per emergent trip after applicable insurance or Medicare. Costs beyond the applicable benefits may remain your responsibility. Other services have their own limits.

  9. 9.Activities and other benefits

Both amateur and professional activities are included, including specified sanctioned and unsanctioned competitions, sponsorship, compensation and prizes. Other applicable event, employer or responsible-party benefits must first be used. All other eligibility rules, waits, limits and exclusions apply.

  10. 10.Service arrangements

GME ACTION must arrange services as required by the agreement. Independently arranged services do not create a reimbursement obligation outside those terms. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or the applicable local emergency number first.
